Officer's Oath, July 27, 2012
By Carolyn H. Luke
This review is from: OFFICER S OATH: Why my vow to defend the Constitution demanded that I sacrifice my career (Perfect Paperback). Excellent written account by a courageous man who held the high ground of truth against a liar with unearned power. Thank you, Terry, for your brave stand.
1945: "I was just following [illegal] orders", July 27, 2012

In 1945 many Nazi officers were saying "I was just following [illegal] orders". The author of this book is among few who will not have to say that in the future. He is a hero and remains clean. Dumb masses [try to say these 2 words quickly] elected a person without ANY idea about who he is. With even college and medical records sealed. V. I. Lenin called them "useful idiots"

Honor and Integrity is sparse these days. This is a story of both. Very human and makes you wonder why our President let him go to Leavenworth. I bought both the book to pass along and the Kindle version for myself.

LTC Lakin exposes the bias and preconceived notions of military court rooms. What most Americans need to see is the injustice of our current judicial system.Thank you Sir, for your service.
