Grant O. Knutson: Read it!

Grant Knudson

The book addresses U.S. Army Lt.Col. Terry Lakin's growing doubts about President Barack Obama's bona fides to hold the U.S. Presidency, specifically is Obama a ' natural born citizen'? Obfuscation about Obama's history has been around since his introduction to the American political scene and has grown to include his early travels, his nationality, his school records, his passport, his social security number, his sources of income, his mentors, his adherence to the U.S. Constitution, and his choice to be debarred in Illinois, as well as a host of other questions. He is the mystery President. Only he is aware of his history.

As a U.S. Army doctor stationed at the Arberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. Lt.Col. Terry Lakin was slated in early 2010 to deploy to Afghanistan, and he had to make a momentous decision. Should he accept that Barack Obama was the Commander-in-Chief regardless of the murky waters of his birth, therefore accepting his deployment orders as legitimate OR follow his oath of office which requires him to look more closely at the legitimacy of the POTUS. Being quite aware of the gravity of doing the latter, Terry placed his career & retirement on the line & officially questioned Barack Obama's documents regarding his birth. Much as our forefathers had done nearly a quarter millennium earlier, he put his liberty and his sacred honor at risk.

To ex-military readers, the trial and incarceration are not surprises, but maybe the lack of Lakin's judicial rights is. Lakin was not allowed to question Obama's birth documents (or lack thereof - unlike Sheriff Joe Arpaio), and the Court Martial proceeded to find him guilty of (among other charges) not following orders - off he went for almost six months to the prison at Leavenworth, Kansas.
The last third of the book names kindred spirits - patriots- those who feel much as Lt.Col. Lakin did & in many cases paid for it (my apologies for any errors):
